If you are looking for something new to try then Hina Rae’s Cafe is the perfect stop with their acai bowls and waffle sandwiches. They take the time to make each acai bowl as you order with fresh cut fruit and an assortment of other toppings. For every Kaeden’s Fave acai bowl that is sold, 50 cents is donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii. On the sweeter side you can get a waffle with butter and whipped cream or one stuffed with bananas and topped with whipped cream and more bananas. On the savory side get a waffle breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese and choice of meat or the waffle B.L.T. with pesto mayo. Fresh brewed coffees, fruit smoothies and a daily lunch special are also available. This quaint eatery has limited seating indoors and a couple of benches outside.
