Family is the heart and soul of Gramma’s Kitchen, a quaint little diner in downtown Honoka’a. Offering home-cooked meals inspired by the Portuguese grandmothers of the co-owner. Revolving specials include Vina Dosh, a wine and garlic marinated pork dish or Portuguese bean soup served in a cute three-legged bowl. Breakfast is a favorite here and is served all day. The portions are generous and the moco locos are offered in a bowl size if you are wanting a lighter portion. Their hamburgers and steaks are from grass-fed hormone-free Hawaiian beef. Gramma’s Kitchen is very popular and you may have to wait for a table; they do not take reservations, but the wait is worth your time.
