It is all about location when you are talking about the Lava Lava Beach Club in Waikoloa. Located on the Anaeho’omalu Bay with an incredible ocean view and sunsets that are stunning. Enjoy a relaxed, laid-back experience under the open air patio/bar or set your sights at a table right on the beach. The sizzling shrimp, pork or ahi nachos, or the tipsy tots are a great way to get started. Follow up with juicy burgers, finger licking ribs, delicious fish tacos, or the fresh catch of the day. There is live music with local musicians every evening after 5pm and the bar serves until 10pm. Lava Lava Beach Club is famous for their amazing tropical drinks, with such hits as the Bamboocha Man Tai which comes in a large bamboo Souvenir Cup (this one is potent so be careful) and the Lava Lava Flow with their special on the rocks style. On Sundays, get your day started with a Bloody Mary Beach Brunch and don’t forget happy hour runs 3pm-5pm seven days a week with some delicious appetizer and drink specials to kick off your evening. The sunset views from this restaurant are incredible and often draw a crowd so plan to get there a little early if you want to beat the rush. The wait can be a bit long during peak dining hours and they don’t take standard reservations, so plan accordingly. Their policy is more of a call ahead waitlist, so you call an hour before you plan to dine and they will add you to the list and then you check in with the host stand when you arrive.
