Kona’s housing market downturn: what you need to know
The housing market in Kona is seeing a major downturn, with condo and overall property sales down 33% from last year. The average price has also remained almost identical to October 2021 at $1 million
Condo sales are down this year, but that’s not to say they won’t pick up again. In fact the average price for condos continues its upwards trajectory with a $100k increase from last year’s highs under one million dollars!
So what to do?
So to summarize, the housing market has seen a significant shift in recent months. As prices are still up and sales volume continues decline it seems that there will be more changes happening soon!

The Hawai‘i Keiki Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that has been working with the Kona International Marketplace to open an interactive children's museum. Mauna Loa Eruption
After 38 years of silence, Mauna Loa is erupting.🌋
Scientists at the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said the eruption began at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Mokuaweoweo, the summit caldera of the volcano.
Experts say the eruption appears to be mostly contained in the summit caldera.
No evacuations have been issued at this time 🙏
