Annual Hilo Brewfest

Tickets are $60 for general admission. Ticket price includes admission, eight 4 ounce sample pours, shuttle ride from down town, a souvenir glass, food samples and live entertainment! A celebration of beer, food, and Hawaiian culture, the Rotary Club of Hilo’s annual Hilo Brewfest is an afternoon party offering more than 70 different brews, dozens of food vendors, and live blues and rock music at the Wainaku Executive Center. With gorgeous views of Hilo Bay, there’s lots of fun to be had at Hilo’s largest brew festival. Like the festival’s counterpart on the western side, the Hilo Brewfest celebrates the homebrew movement in craft brewing with a competition as part of the festival itself. Home brewers from all over the Hawaiian islands and the mainland bring their creations to the Big Island’s eastern side for a celebration of the art of beer making and share their secrets with fellow brewers and attendees alike. An ideal way to spend a June afternoon, the Hilo Brewfest is a wonderful opportunity to experience the best brews, food, and music the Hawaiian islands have to offer. Only a few years old, this brewfest has quickly become one of the most popular events during the Big Island’s diverse range of summer activities.
