The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort Overview Positioned above one of the most famous tropical beaches in the world, the Hapuna Beach Resort is a coastal paradise. The iconic resort underwent a complete makeover as part of a transformation into a Westin Resort in 2018. They reopened with a fresh round of luxury renovations to guest rooms and amenities: restaurants, pools, grounds and lounge areas. The resort at Hapuna Beach is one of the most established and popular stays on the entire island, which is why we were excited to see how the extensive renovation effort transformed the already impressive accommodation. One section of rooms is still under construction as of Feb 2019. The hotel has always maintained a classy, modern approach to Hawaiian resort living.
